As a General Farm Worker, your duties may include:
Driving tractors and other farm equipment Preparing fields for planting Planting, cultivating, and harvesting soybean, sugarcane, and wheat Applying fertiliser and assisting with irrigation Manual planting and crop cultivation Removing weeds using hoes and hand tools Spot spraying crops where required Loading and unloading trucks Repairing and maintaining farm equipment Maintaining farm buildings, fences, bins, levees, ponds, roads, and other property Performing general agricultural labour as directed by supervisors Crops You'll Work With Soybean Sugarcane Wheat Job Requirements
Applicants should have:
At least 3 months of similar farm work experience Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (approximately 23 kg) Physical fitness for outdoor manual labour Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and changing weather conditions Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when necessary Ability to pass employer-required drug testing if requested after hiring Work Environment
