📋 Key Responsibilities
- Engagement Execution: Plan, perform, and complete external audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
- Standards Compliance: Apply Australian Accounting Standards and Auditing Standards rigorously across engagements.
- Audit Reporting: Identify audit findings and communicate key technical issues directly to managers and partners.
- Client Interaction: Manage client communications and build trusted relationships throughout the audit lifecycle.
- Documentation: Prepare high-quality audit documentation, working papers, and reports.
- Team Leadership: Review junior auditors' work, offering constructive feedback and mentoring.
- Advisory Support: Assist with special engagement and advisory projects when required.
✅ Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Professional Qualification: CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
- Public Practice Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of external audit experience in a public practice accounting firm.
- Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Auditing Standards.
- Stakeholder Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and client management skills.
- Work Rights: Full Australian working rights OR an active 417 Working Holiday Visa with contract availability.
